We have developed novel methods for analyzing turbulent plasma fluctuations in plasma devices such as tokamaks and stellarators. Our approach leverages 60 years of advancements in nonlinear dynamical systems, incorporating techniques from information theory, nonlinear correlation functions, and symbolic dynamics. We will present results from the application of these methods to experimentally measured turbulence fluctuations in tokamaks, demonstrating their effectiveness in capturing complex plasma behavior.
