Submitting Your Abstract

  • Abstract character count is limited to 2000 characters, which includes spaces, punctuation, references, and footnotes.
  • Abstracts may be altered if they do not comply with the style guidelines, including excessive length.
  • Abstracts should be submitted as a text document (i.e., Word document).

Abstracts must be submitted via this page by Monday, January 19, 2015. Authors whose abstract is selected for an oral presentation will be notified by the program committee. Abstracts not selected for an oral presentation will present a poster presentation.

Poster board size: 4 feet by 8 feet
These are free-standing poster boards.

The Sherwood Conference is organized for educational and scientific purposes. The objective of the Conference shall be the communication of recent results in the physics of controlled fusion energy. Papers are solicited on the following topics:

  • Plasma Properties, Equilibrium, Stability, and Transport
  • Physics of Plasma Edge and Divertor Region
  • Plasma Production and Heating
  • Computer Simulation of Plasmas

Special Instructions (200 characters max.):
Abstract placement must be specified (e.g., John Gant next to J.W.O'Connor).

Just login to the site using login credentials emailed to you after submission of your first abstract, locate the appropriate abstract, and use "Add files" to upload your file.
