Whitewater Rafting Excursion!
An optional whitewater rafting excursion has been arranged on Sunday, May 5, 2024. The Alberton Gorge is one of Montana’s most beautiful river canyons with spectacular canyon scenery. Montana River Guides will pick everyone up at the Holiday Inn Downtown in Missoula at 9 am. It’s about a 30-minute ride to the Alberton Gorge. Participants will get geared up there. Montana River Guides will provide all transportation, guides, and river gear (including wetsuits, splash jackets and booties if needed). No experience necessary for this adventure. Guides will provide instruction and a safety briefing before the trip. The trip lasts 4-5 hours with a stop along the way for a delicious riverside lunch. Participants will be dropped off at the Holiday Inn Downtown after the trip is done. The cost per person for the Sherwood 2024 raft excursion is $95 and can be booked here.
The Holiday Inn Downtown is located in the heart of downtown Missoula, alongside the Clark Fork River. There are many dining options available nearby. The local downtown organization provides a guide for visiting Missoula.
